Cogeneration plants

Cogeneration plants

We can obtain electrical and heat energy through the cogeneration from wastes that are usually generated by other industrial processes. Although they usually are organic wastes, they may also appear as wasted energy (for example, thermal energy generated by the functioning of the machinery of every kind of industry) which usually would dissipate into the atmosphere, but that could be reused to generate electrical energy.

In Fortis Group, we mainly develop cogeneration plants for our W.W.T.P. (Water Waste Treatment Plants), where the biogas generated in the depuration process of the water is used as a fuel for an engine which produces the electrical energy.
